The main option would be to focus on colts with a view to future resale potential or to race in USA. Approximately 70% of the horses offered at the European breeze up sales are colts and the value proposition is not always as prevalent with fillies. In saying that we are not ignoring fillies that would have everything you want at a value price and will attempt to do this, but it will prove difficult to achieve.

We are focussing In terms of budget and logistics I would suggest looking to focus on the $80,000 - $150,000 price. This is the price bracket we feel you can secure enough performance level in the breeze but also allows enough upside in terms of resale.

After the purchase, the horses will move to Ireland and Joseph O'Brien's yard and race for the summer.
The goal will be to win a race with these colts and then determine a path of :

• Selling the colt privately for profit
• Bringing the horse over to the U.S. to run at Kentucky Downs and then leaving him here. 

General framework:

• 1 or 2 colts acquired in Europe breeze up sales
• Trained by Joseph O'Brien in Ireland
• $180,000 value of the group with 1% going for $1,800.  There would never be an ask for any other expenses or commitments to the group.  Any additional money would be covered by WV Stables.  WV Stables would buy at least 20% of the group, but would also buy whatever the Club doesn't buy.
• Whatever is not spent in horse flesh, will go to training expenses and also get counted as "revenue" for the group.   In this way it will be just like an individual foal offering.
• The group would settle up at the end of the ownership of the last horse.
• This will run like all of our racing groups in that you will have no ongoing expenses or future bills.  If the group needs more capital, Wasabi will fund that.   NET-NET, there are no surprise cash calls and you have no further downside risk besides your original purchase amount.
• People would have to make commitments before we make the first purchase of a horse.
