 Itgetsgreaterlater is an unraced daughter of the undefeated Triple Crown winner Justify, the runaway leading juvenile sire of 2023 by all black-type metrics, including no fewer than four G1 winning 2YOs (certain Eclipse Champion Just F Y I, European champions City of Troy and Ramatuelle, and BC Juvenile Fillies Turf winner Hard To Justify). He was also the leading first crop sire in Australia this past season after shuttling there.
She's the first foal out of Sotto Voce, who was a $2.7 million yearling purchase by M.V. Magnier, as a full-sister to G1W Cupid (a $900,000 yearling) and half to G3W Heart Ashley (a $500,000 broodmare purchase and also a G3W producer and granddam of G2W Ain't Easy), G3W Ashley's Kitty, plus $490k yearling and SW Indianapolis. Other siblings to Sotto Voce include her full-brother Dream Team (a $1 million yearling), her full-sister Sweet Assassin (a $750,000 broodmare purchase), her half-sister Elfin Queen (a $1.2 million yearling and $550,000 broodmare purchase with a first foal by Justify), and her half-sister Pretty d'Oro (a $500,000 yearling with a first foal by Constitution). Another half-sister is the granddam of both G2W Kathleen O and G3W V V's Dream via different daughters.
So this is both an outrageously commercial family, and one filled with top quality runners.
Itgetsgreaterlater has a 2021 full-brother by Justify and a 2022 half-brother by Uncle Mo (who was a $225,000 yearling) in the pipeline, and Sotto Voce was bred to Not This Time for 2024.
Wasabi acquired Itgetsgreaterlater for $80,000 at the 2023 Keeneland November Sale carrying her first foal by Practical Joke on a February 11th cover.
