Necessary Drama

Why We Bought This Horse

NOTE:  This is not a claim.  We purchased this Kentucky-bred filly at the OBS 2YO sale in June 2018.  She was Hip #663.

UPDATE on 6/24/18 - Had first gate excercises and was able to pass through the gate without incident.  On pace for a debut in 2 to 3 months.

UPDATE on 7/10/18 - She has started to work 3 furlongs every week.   Handling it well as well as her gate work.

UPDATE on 7/25/18 - The Jockey Club approved her name, Necessary Drama

UPDATE on 8/7/18 -  Drama now has her gate card and is another step closer to a debut.

UPDATE on 10/5/18 - Drama is set to debut at Delaware APrk on the 10/8/18!

Why Did We Buy Her:

-- This Kentucky-bred Liaison filly out of a Posse mare had a lovely conformation.  The horse walked correctly and cleanly and vetted cleanly too.  From our blood stock agent, Adam Parker of T Square Stud, the colt had a high grade at the under tack preview and passed physical inspection.  Adam was able to get the winning bid at just $8,000.

-- If you watch the video attached above you will see a horse that moves with a long stride and drops her head as she strides out.

-- The horse will be moving to Delaware Park and be in the hands of trainer Jesse Cruz as she begins her training for a debut.

NOTE on PRICING: In an effort to give all of our Club members a price point to participate in an athletic 2YO, we are not adding our usual few months of training to the initial cost.  The price does includes the $600 in auction vetting and $1,000 in shipping costs.  The accounting is that we spent $8,000 on the horse + $600 in auction expense + $1,000 in shipping expenses (you get this credited to the your account on settlement).

NOTE on NAMING: We are going to run a naming process on the horse. Anyone that becomes a part of this 2 YO will have a vote in the naming of her.   For each .5% you own, you get one vote on the name selection from the three final name choices.

OUR NAMING PROCESS IS CLOSED.
